We offer it in 1020/1026 carbon steel, and 4140/4130/4142 alloy steel. The advantages of using CDS tubing is its tight tolerances compared to Hot Finish Seamless tube, its easy clean up on both the O.D. and the I.D., and higher physical properties compared to other mechanical tubing. These advantages allow you less machining time and less processing time that needs to be done. In the fluid power industry, CDS tubing is used in many different applications. Because of its easy clean up on the O.D., CDS is used to make hollowed chrome plated hydraulic rods and telescopic cylinders.
